Adoptive Family Preservation and Support
The Adoptive Family Preservation and Support Program is a comprehensive program, funded by the Virginia Department of Social Services. It provides assessment, informational and referral, counseling and support services to adoptive families in throughout the state of Virginia anytime after adoption. Services provided include information on referral services coordination, in-home counseling to children and families, assistance with the school system, psyco-educational support groups for children and families, respite and financial assistance.
